Tomato, Austin’s Red Pear (organic)

Introduced to SSE in 1998 by Dale Austin of Washington. A real standout among all of SSE’s red pears due to its superior flavor. Large 2″ red tomatoes with elongated neck. Very productive. Occasionally a plant with yellow fruit appears. Indeterminate, 80 days from transplant.

Instructions – Sow seeds indoors ¼” deep. Tomatoes are sensitive to freezing temperatures, so wait to transplant outdoors until the soil is warm. Plant in full sun.
